Two Vehicle Accident I-70 Westbound

This writing assignment was to write a radio spot news story using three leads: New, Second-Day and Perspective. Each story was to run about 30 seconds. Each lead was to include unique details relevant to the story. I made sure to include proper emphasis and pronunciation of names for the anchor.  Proper structure essentials and copy formats for radio, were used in writing this script. Using three leads gave me experience and preparation for real time news stories and segments.

WMCO 90.7 Orbit Media Promo

This assignment was to write, record and produce a 30 second radio spot promo for WMCO 90.7 Orbit Media, New Concord, Ohio. I utilized and completed the copy platform and AIDA formula to write and construct the content of my script in Rundown Creator.  Additionally, I recorded the voice over and it was placed on a music bed. This was a challenging, yet fun assignment that utilized much of what I learned throughout the course. The promo is to recruit WMCO listeners to follow Orbit907News on Facebook.
